Michael Tomlinson calls on all local residents to respond to the proposed planning application off Magna Road, Bearwood.
An outline application for the use of land south of Magna Road, west of Wheelers Lane has been made to the Borough of Poole. The proposal is to develop an area of horse paddocks, agricultural land and a car park as an industrial estate. The site is to be accessed from Magna Road.
Michael Tomlinson, Prospective MP for Mid Dorset and North Poole, is encouraging all Bearwood and local residents to respond.
“Time is running out” Michael said, “and this proposal is likely to affect many residents locally. Please do take a few minutes to respond. Details of how best to do so are below. The deadline is the 9th April, and so the time to respond is now.”*

UPDATE - 20th June 2013
I am delighted to announce that the planning application was rejected at committee by the Borough of Poole. It was a pleasure to have attended the committee meeting and to hear the decision in person. I was also hugely encouraged by the number of people who responded and the Borough of Poole received in excess of 200 responses in the end.
