Michael was pleased to be able to visit Montecute School. He had a tour of the school, and then enjoyed a cake and a coffee at the school's Happy Zone café.
The café is run by students, and raises funds for the school. It is open in term time.
As I write this month’s column, the clocks have recently changed and spring finally seems to be upon us. I know that my children are enjoying the longer lighter evenings, taking the opportunity to spend more time on the trampoline in the garden.
Michael was honoured to have been invited to go to Hong Kong with the All Party Parliamentary China Group (APPCG). This group was established in 1997 to widen the parliamentary contribution to the UK-China bilateral relationship.
