Michael visited Canford Heath along with Sean Gabriel where he got involved in a pond digging project with Poole Heath Wardens and volunteers to improve the water access for wildlife.
Michael was delighted to open the Friends of Wareham hospital fete on Saturday. It was a very enjoyable afternoon, where Michael spent time with the Zephyrae Ensemble, a wonderful group with enormous talent in woodwind.
Michael was delighted to meet Alan White, a local ex- Royal Marine. Alan has been selected as one of 72 military veterans to represent the UK in October's Invictus Games in Sydney.
Michael Tomlinson MP visited a street scene set up in Parliament last week by the charity Guide Dogs to learn more about the challenges that people with sight loss face when walking the streets.
Michael was honoured to have been invited to several events in the constituency recently. He visited Wimborne Methodist Church which was open during Wimborne Folk Festival. Michael met several of the volunteers, and chatted to the minister over a coffee.
