Michael discusses local business with Secretary of State

Michael recently visited local business Heatric, and following the visit had a meeting with the Secretary of State for Business and Industrial Strategy. They discussed Heatric's work, renewable energy and their possible expansion plans.

Michael was delighted to be asked to open the new showroom for a local Wareham business. Nationwide Home Innovations have thousands of satisfied customers across the UK, having installed their sun awnings, verandas, roof blinds and garage doors. 

Michael congratulates Reef for award

Michael was thrilled to be able to visit the Reef youth and community centre to congratulate them on being awarded The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.

Michael visits the Port of Poole

Michael recently visited the Port of Poole and chatted to the CEO of Poole Harbour Commissioners about the port. Michael was shown around the port by Jim Stewart, and heard about Brexit readiness and the challenges and opportunities for the port.

Michael visits Colehill Community Library

Every year Dorset libraries run a summer reading challenge for children. This year the theme is "Space Race" and Michael visited Colehill Community library to hear about how many children had signed up.

Michael was pleased to be able to visit local business Heatric recently. His discussed various aspects of the business including their work in carbon capture and energy storage. This growing area of activity is very much aligned to the agenda for  greener power generation and energy sectors.
