Michael was delighted to catch up with Sasha from the Canford Heath residents group ARCH to chat about the issues in the community, and how he can support the local residents. 

Michael visits leisure centre

Michael visited the Junction Leisure Centre in Broadstone with David Sidwick, the Dorset Conservative for Police and Crime Commissioner. 


Michael visits Touring Park

Michael had a great visit to Wareham Forest Touring Park where he was welcomed by the owners, Tony & Sarah Birch.


They discussed the challenges that the park has had over the last few months, and welcomed the government support that has been available. 


Michael welcomes news on weddings & places of worship

The government have recently announced new guidelines for Churches and places of worship, allowing them to open for services, and not just private prayer. Weddings are also set to go ahead, with limited numbers and careful guidelines to ensure the virus cannot spread amongst attendees.

Michael Visits Local Dentist

Michael was contacted during the Coronavirus lockdown by many local businesses seeking help and clarification with the various government schemes to support jobs and businesses. Upton Dental Practice was one such business, and Michael was delighted to be invited back when lockdown eased. 

Michael supports local businesses

Michael visited Wareham on Saturday to visit several businesses as they gradually re-open following the coronavirus crisis. 


Michael visits site of Wareham Forest Fire

Michael went to visit the site of the Wareham Forest Fire with the Chief Fire Officer Ben Ansell. 


The firefighters were still battling to keep the fire under control, with strong wind and warm, dry weather exacerbating the problem.
