Michael Judges Broadstone Christmas Parade

Michael was pleased to be able to attend the Broadstone Christmas Parade as a judge on Small Business Saturday. The event was very well attended, and the weather was not as bad as it could have been! Lots of local groups and organisations attended.

 

Homeless Sleep Out

Michael spent an uncomfortable night sleeping outside with only cardboard to protect him from the elements. It was to raise money for the Poole charity Routes to Roots, and was with the church youth group in Lytchett Minster.

Michael was delighted to be invited to celebrate Diwali with the community in Corfe Mullen. Dorset Kannada Sanga invited Michael and his family to enjoy lunch and entertainment on Saturday.

Remembrance Day

Remembrance day is always a special day in the year to remember those who have died serving this country. This year was of course extra special, as the centenary year of the end of the First World War.

Michael attend several Acts of Remembrance across the constituency on Sunday.

November 2018 news

November is of course the month where we remember those who have fought for our country and lost their lives in conflict. Remembrance Day has a special poignancy this year, as it is 100 years to the day since the First World War ended.

Conference update

Whilst at the Conservative Party conference Michael met a range of charities, businesses and individuals to discuss a range of subjects.

Michael helping local wildlife

Michael visited Canford Heath along with Sean Gabriel where he got involved in a pond digging project with Poole Heath Wardens and volunteers to improve the water access for wildlife.
