Whilst in Manchester, Michael took the opportunity to speak to the CEO of Wessex Water, Colin Skellett. Colin updated Michael with the investment and plans that Wessex Water have for Mid Dorset and North Poole, including ongoing works to reduce storm overflows. They also discussed nutrients and pollution in our waterways.
"I know that this is an important topic for many people, and I'm really pleased to have had the chance to speak to Colin in person about this. I look forward to seeing the plans that Wessex have come to fruition, including the use of increased storm storage capacity, and reed beds"
