Michael was invited to speak and present awards to committee members and volunteers at a celebratory event for Upton in Bloom following the group being awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
Michael was part of Crown Court open day in Bournemouth, where he spoke about the Unduly Lenient Sentencing scheme, and its important place in the Criminal Justice System.
The Boundary Commission have now published the final boundaries which will be used for the next General Election. Constituency boundaries are reviewed regularly, to ensure that constituencies are all roughly a similar size, with a similar number of constituents.
Michael visited the Sense Charity exhibition in Parliament along with the Attorney General. The exhibition was organised by one of Michael's Wareham constituents, and was showcasing stories of people who are deafblind.
Michael visited The Netherlands as part of a Parliamentary delegation. The trip was developing the Anglo-Dutch bilateral relationship, and included MPs, retired Parliamentarians, civil servants and other staff.
Michael was kindly invited by the Douch Family Funeral Directors to official open the European Summer Conference for Selected Independent Funeral Homes on Friday 9th June.
